Jyoti Basu passed away

Jyoti basu passed away after a long fight for the last few days.Today he died at 11.47 am .I dont knowwhat to say a stalwart like him passed away, probably an iconic communist only comparable to Fidel Castro, was a legend in himself.With ruling under democratic system for more than 25 years is itself an achievemtn under multilateral party system.He also got the oppurtunity to become the Prime minister in '96 which he did not join due to decision of the party which was later named as the historical blunder.His absence will be felt by the party leaders in this crunch time more.The official anouncement was made by Mr Biman Bose at around 12.10 pm today.

Bengali Movies are unknown to the world except the likes of Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen,Tapan Sinha and few others,but what i will like to say is that it has got its other gems too.Names must be mentioned of Uttam Kumar,The Mahanayak--or the Greatest heroas bengalis called him.He was a superb actor,a superb improviser and a creative fellow who has many legendary hits to his names like The Seven Rounds,The Hero, Agniswar,The saint King,The zoo etc.secondly the name that comes to my mind is that of Soumitra Chatterjee, the Satyajit Ray hero.Although he has other remarkable films but his name will remain unforgotten for those movies.Other great persons who should be mentioned and does not got their sufficient Respect were Gouriprassanna Majumder and Hemanta.Gouriprasanna was a great lyricyist probably the most used after Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali movies.Another great actors who if had born in other countries may have been the likes of Tom Hanks are Rabi Ghosh and Bikash Rai a master in charecter roles......







Coming to the modern day Bengali cinema There are greats like that of Rituparna Sengupta,Tarun Majumder,Buddhadeb Dasgupta who makes serious movies with important issues.A new western style of cinema has been introduced by Anjan Dutta.He is a man to watch delivaring new flavors for the young mass that has been accepted among audience.






Coming to the present day Commercial cinema its full of copies only from hindi and south Indian movies ---No quality as such.I dont find a single name worth wasting words on.Bollywood copies from Hollywood and Tollywood copies from Bollywood and south---What a Shame.Non Bengali producers ruling the market are spoiling the name..

Argentina after their loss to Brazil by a 3-1 defeat has left many fans stunned---Will Argentina be able to qualify for the next world cup is a million dollar question.Next Big match is on Wednesday.Argentina must win it against Paraguay otherwise it can get real difficult.Maradona must stop gambling..He is not bigger than the game.He must realize and follow a consistent strategy.Please bring back crespo.He is the goal machineand still better than Tevez Messi or aguero while it comes to cool finish.

FIFA 09----A Critical Review Following fifa 09 from its time of birth from easports.com has been a privilage. Although Ea took a massive step in the improvement of game graphics in the year 2003 which was a significant improvement from 2002 fifa,truely speaking i wait for fifa and so i waited for Fifa 09 as well.As a first look the menu was good with player in the background with a ball in different colours like red and green looked bright.The movement of the menu is also good and smart and I belive smart is the best word. Not much has been added in manager mode.It is more or less same from 2006 to 2008.The in game graphics bears a good look and a change for those who has played previous versions.There are new leagues but i expected a few more national teams this time and an improvement in commentry.although makoy is superb but I belive its time to move on.However the commentry if compared to real time game play moves with almost perfect frequency, thus adding interest to the game.Faces can be identified of big players but most common players have simillar faces.Playing the game was superb as minute changes in dribbling,running,freestyle play has been improved. Last but not the least a four among five stars for this ea sequal to football simulation. What is happening? I just cant belive.We ,communists are losing seats after seats and still the top leaders of india are sitting idle,talking bullshits.Please for god sake derive some strateies.Just cant watch losing in West Bengal.So what we need.I suggest a Five point Solution based strategy.

1)Identify issues --big issues in our favor that can help in bringing the tide.

2)Take steps to encourage party workers.

3)Organise movements that can boost people.

4)Stop criticising America alone when we have capitalists in our own country and u urself is helpless in the system.

5)Boost team communists by young leaders...................
